Bharat Open Innovation Hub
BOHRAI — the Bharat Open Innovation Hub for Robotics and AI — is an open national platform connecting students, researchers, startups and government missions through a single, evaluated pathway from prototype to deployment.
Moments from our recent national gathering, uniting academic leaders, deep-tech researchers, and industry pioneers to evaluate sovereign innovations in robotics and AI.
India does not lack ambitious technologists. What it has lacked is a coherent national surface — a place where serious work in AI, robotics and silicon can be evaluated, validated and routed to the missions that need it.
BOHRAI is Bharat Open Innovation Hub — designed as that surface. It connects every level of the deep-tech economy, from a student soldering their first board to a venture-backed company preparing its first industrial pilot, through one disciplined, peer-reviewed pathway.
The platform is deliberately institution-agnostic. What matters is the technology, the team's seriousness, and a demonstrated route from prototype to deployment. Every submission moves through the same evaluation engine; every track is anchored to specific national missions, industrial applications and a clear destination beyond the showroom.
"Treat deep technology as national infrastructure — not as a product category."
India possesses one of the world's largest student populations, yet millions of talented minds remain disconnected from real-world innovation opportunities.
BOHRAI exists to transform universities from teaching institutions into innovation engines. The future belongs to institutions that produce researchers, builders, startups, patents, robotics systems, AI breakthroughs, and nationally significant technologies.
We are creating the infrastructure that allows every student to become an innovator. By routing student energy to regional and national problem matrices, we turn academic requirements into active sovereign capabilities.
Establishing the core infrastructure, validating initial university nodes, and wiring the baseline evaluation systems.
Scaling the platform to include regional clusters and integrating the curriculum-based innovation model across multiple states.
Connecting local university labs directly to active problem matrices from government missions, municipal bodies, and industries.
Deploying dedicated grant pools and seed-funding channels to translate peer-reviewed prototypes into patents and active ventures.
A completely self-sustaining, sovereign network driving the next generation of academic, industrial, and societal breakthroughs.
BOHRAI commits to creating opportunities through a common open-source innovation platform powered by AI, Robotics and Deep Technology.
Become part of the movement that will shape the next generation of universities, technologies and innovators. Register your prototype or explore the regional opportunities mapping.
